Scott and his team were great to do business with. Fair pricing. Clear scope and schedule. They stayed in daily communication through a couple weather delays and made sure that I's and T's were taken care of. Highly recommend.
Worked with Scott today, the experience was great very friendly punctual went above and beyond the items I needed help with related to my roof, extreme attention to detail to cover things that I hadn't even seen when I checked it out myself. Would certainly recommend to anybody out there in the springs needing a reliable company.

I was so pleased with the speed and accuracy, which they did in a very professional way, I would choose them again in the future. Happy to have their services. Our commercial roof turned out beautiful and I’m confident I’ll never have to worry about another roof for a long time on our commercial property.

We recently had Colorado Pro Roofing re-texture and repaint a ceiling and wall that had been damaged by water leakage. The result was outstanding. Both areas match the original texture and color and we couldn't be more pleased. They took great care to ensure there were no paint drips on the wall or floor. All in all an outstanding job. I highly recommend these guys!

Phenomenal job! We had wood shakes that needed to eventually be replaced to lower our home insurance. We got three quotes from different companies. We went with Colorado Pro Roofing because of these reasons:

1.) No complaints or issues with the BBB

2.) Google reviews were high

3.) When we got our quote back from Scott it was VERY professional and detailed, like the warranty, type of shingle, after the work is done a magnetic will be used to collect any loose nails, etc. No questions needed with that quote.

4.) Price was reasonable and there was no issues, so the quote was exactly what we paid.

I would use Colorado Pro Roofing again! They started around 7:30am and everything was done by 3pm. Bonus. We love our new roof and have no complaints.

Scott and Team are amazing to work with. They did a stellar job with our roof and gutter replacement, and deck repair project. Scott is a true professional and kept my wife and me updated every step of the way. We had initially considered other contractors for the job, and came back to the first team we considered - Colorado Pro Roofing, and I am so happy we did. I highly recommend this company if you want the work completed professionally, thoroughly and timely. We will most definitely use them for future home repair projects. Thank you Scott and team on a job well done.

Peace of Mind. You're looking to hire a company for your exterior home project. You have found the best company! The uncertainty of a fair cost and unknown dilemma if the work will be done properly only adds to your concerns. Colorado Pro Roofing does an excellent job of putting those concerns at ease.

Scott not only does the on-site estimate himself; he also ensured that everything was done properly. His crew was extremely professional, and worked with such diligence. From start to finish, working with Colorado Pro Roofing has been such a great experience.
We love Colorado Pro Roofing! Queries are answered promptly. The estimates were very fair. Scott is certainly organized. He monitors the work done by subcontractors for quality. His own work is precise and finely executed. Our home is over seventy years old and many updates were completed including paint, drywall, electrical work, light fixtures and plumbing. We had a great experience with this company. Betsi and Phil.

Great company and service! Scott was quick and professional. We had a leak in our roof and Scott was able to identify the problem within about 5 minutes. He was then able to make a quick turnaround and return the next day to fix it. Communication was always clear. He texted me ahead of time to let me know when he was coming and gave me a heads up when he would be arriving 15 minutes later than he expected. Will definitely be reaching out to the company again when we need work done on the roof.

What Does a Siding Contractor Do?

Siding Contractors Protect the Full Exterior System

A quality siding contractor does more than install panels. The right contractor evaluates the existing exterior, checks water-shedding details, explains material choices, coordinates trim and transitions, and helps homeowners decide whether repair, replacement, or a larger exterior renovation makes sense.

1

Inspect

Review siding condition, cracking, fading, impact damage, loose panels, trim issues, flashing details, and moisture concerns.

2

Recommend

Compare repair, partial replacement, full replacement, material upgrades, color changes, and storm restoration options.

3

Install

Complete siding replacement with attention to layout, transitions, penetrations, water management, trim, and clean finished appearance.

4

Coordinate

Help align siding with roofing, gutters, windows, fascia, soffit, paint, and overall curb appeal.

Siding Materials

Choosing the Right Siding for Colorado Springs Homes

Colorado siding has to deal with hail, wind, UV exposure, freeze-thaw cycles, snow, drainage, and fast temperature changes. The right choice depends on budget, appearance goals, maintenance preferences, impact resistance, and long-term exterior value.

  • Works well with lap siding, trim, shakes, and board and batten accents

Vinyl Siding

Vinyl Siding Can Be Practical, But It Is Not Always the Premium Choice

Vinyl siding is common because it is widely available, lower maintenance, and often more budget-friendly. In Colorado Springs, homeowners should also consider hail exposure, temperature changes, UV conditions, and how important premium curb appeal is to the final result.

  • Lower upfront cost in many applications
  • Easy to clean and maintain
  • Available in many profiles and colors
  • May be more vulnerable to cracking or puncture from severe hail depending on age, product, and storm conditions

Review consumer and technical education from the Performance Engineered Polymer Association / Vinyl Siding Institute.

Siding Repair & Storm Damage

Repair, Replace, or Document Storm Damage?

Not every siding issue requires full replacement. Some homes need targeted repairs, while others need a broader replacement plan because damage is widespread, matching is difficult, or the existing siding is near the end of its useful life.

Common Problems

Common Siding Problems We See in Colorado Springs

Colorado weather creates unique siding stress. A homeowner may see cosmetic damage, but the underlying issue may involve moisture, flashing, movement, aging materials, or storm-related impact.

  • Hail impact marks, cracks, chips, and punctures
  • Wind-lifted panels and loose siding sections
  • UV fading and chalking from high-altitude sun exposure
  • Moisture intrusion around trim, windows, and penetrations
  • Wood rot around fascia, corner boards, and window details
  • Improper flashing, water staining, and drainage issues
  • Freeze-thaw movement and seasonal expansion concerns

Repair May Make Sense When:

  • Damage is isolated to one area or elevation
  • The siding is still available and matchable
  • Trim and water-shedding details can be corrected
  • The overall system still has useful life

Replacement May Be Better When:

  • Damage is widespread
  • Panels are brittle, faded, or discontinued
  • Matching is not realistic
  • Storm damage or moisture concerns affect multiple elevations

Siding Maintenance

How to Maintain Your Siding in Colorado

Inspect After Storms

Walk around the home after hail or strong wind and look for cracks, chips, punctures, loose panels, damaged trim, and water stains.

Clean Annually

Routine washing can help remove dirt, pollen, dust, and environmental buildup. Avoid aggressive pressure washing that may force water behind siding.

Watch Water Details

Check gutters, downspouts, kick-out flashing, window trim, and penetrations because moisture issues often begin at transitions rather than in the field of the siding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Siding Contractor Questions Homeowners Ask Most Often

What does a siding contractor do?
A siding contractor inspects, repairs, replaces, and installs exterior cladding systems. A good contractor also evaluates trim, flashing, water management, exterior transitions, storm damage, and material choices.
What is the best siding for Colorado Springs homes?
Fiber cement and LP SmartSide are strong premium options for many Colorado Springs homes because they provide durability and a higher-end appearance. Vinyl may be appropriate when budget and low maintenance are the top priorities.
Is LP SmartSide a good siding option?
LP SmartSide is popular because it offers engineered wood appearance, design flexibility, and strong curb appeal. It can be a good choice for homeowners who want a premium look with wood-style texture.
Is fiber cement siding worth it?
For many homeowners, fiber cement is worth considering because of its durability, premium appearance, and long-term performance when properly installed and maintained.
Can hail damage siding?
Yes. Hail can crack, chip, fracture, puncture, or dent siding depending on the siding material, age, installation, and storm severity. A siding inspection can help determine the visible extent of damage.
Can damaged siding be repaired?
Sometimes. Isolated damage may be repaired if matching material is available and the existing system is still in good condition. Full replacement may be better when damage is widespread or matching is not realistic.
Does homeowners insurance cover siding damage?
Coverage depends on the policy, cause of loss, damage type, and adjuster findings. Colorado Pro Roofing can provide visible condition documentation after a hail or wind event.
How long does siding replacement take?
Project timing depends on home size, material, weather, tear-off requirements, trim details, and scope. Many residential siding projects take several days to multiple weeks depending on complexity.
What is board and batten siding?
Board and batten siding is a vertical siding style that uses wide boards and narrow battens to create clean lines, texture, and architectural interest. It is commonly used for full elevations or accent areas.
Should roofing and siding be replaced together?
Sometimes it makes sense to coordinate roofing and siding together, especially after storm damage or when planning a full exterior renovation. Coordinating materials and colors can improve the overall finished result.
Do you provide free siding inspections?
Yes. Colorado Pro Roofing provides free siding inspections and exterior consultations for homeowners in Colorado Springs and surrounding service areas.
How do I request a siding estimate?
Use the Colorado Pro Roofing contact page or call (719) 208-3227 to request a siding inspection, repair review, replacement estimate, or storm damage evaluation.
