ROOF INSTALLATION

When it comes to roof installation, depending on the kind of roof, many items come into play: Subsurface layers creating the water barrier between the decking of the house or building and the actual roof.

Everything must be properly overlapped and sealed to prevent water from entering. Proper ventilation is a must. Too much can cause heating issues and too little will cause the attic to heat up and create moisture that can rot and warp wood. Creating the proper channels and leveling for proper water run-off. Pooling water will cause rot and damage to the roof. Everything must be correctly sealed when performing roof installation, even a small exposed nail can cause serious internal damage.

ROOF INSTALLATION PROCESS

PICK A DATE

Your project manager will work with you to pick a roof installation date that works for you, the weather, and our current available installation dates.  The re-roof permit will be purchased.

DAY BEFORE REPAIRS BEGIN

The day before the roof installation begins is sure to remove any loose pictures from the wall.    You will receive a confirmation phone call from your assigned project manager.  Weather pending the project will begin on the scheduled install date.

DAY OF ROOF INSTALLATION

Be sure to have all vehicles out of the driveway and room made for crews to work.  The crew will arrive early and most roofs can be replaced in one day.  The crew will remove all current roofing materials and install new roofing materials on the same day.    The crew will do a thorough clean-up of the grounds around the house by picking up loose debris and run a magnet over the ground to pick up any nails.

DAY AFTER ROOF INSTALLED

Your project manager will do a post roof installation inspection and walk the grounds around your home to assure any visible nails are picked up.   Your insurance provider will be contacted with a final invoice to let them know your roof replacement has been completed and is ready for homeowners’ project depreciation to be released to the homeowner.

TWO DAYS AFTER ROOF INSTALLED

Final inspection will be scheduled with regional.
